The war isn’t over, no matter how much we want it to be

Every December 8th, Yoko Ono marks the day as the anniversary of her husband, John Lennon’s, death by the hands of a crazed gunman.

Most people would rather close themselves in and not want to face the world for 24 hours, but, Yoko, she continues spreading John’s message of peace and love.

She uses this day, not to mourn Mr. Lennon, but to praise him and his work. He was a musician by trade, but a human by birth. And as a human he sought to end the mis-treatment of others.

It’s not hard to imagine, it’s easy if you try.

War is over.
