Warner vs. YouTube

I found this NME post via CBC Radio 3.

Warner Music has removed videos from YouTube over a dispute over royalties.  “Currently, Warner Music gets a less than a penny each time one of its videos are watched, or a fee of the value of an advert alongside the video, depending on whichever is greater.”

Removed videos include videos by Madonna and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, among others.

One thing I would love to know is does this only relate to videos posted by Warner, or does this go with every Madonna video uploaded by some punk?

NME post.
