Building a PSP

I sort of received a used Sony PSP for Christmas several weeks ago.

It has a few problems with it. The analog stick likes to pull to the upper left, the home row doesn’t work at all, and the casing is missing all but one screw. Oh, and the places for half the screws are broken off.

It’ll play, but just barely. As long as a game doesn’t need the analog stick, it plays fine.

While looking for replacement screws on eBay and elsewhere, I found that there are a pile of people selling replacement… everything for the PSP.

Replacement LCD screens, replacement buttons, replacement shells, replacement Wi-Fi antennas… everything. I’ve yet to find a motherboard, but I’m sure someone does.

This makes me wonder, could someone build a working PSP from all these replacement parts?

Surely…
