Microsoft, creator of the Windows platform, the X-Box, and myriad other items, has announced their plans to release a free antivirus software for their WinXP and WinVista operating systems.
This new program, codenamed Morrow will replace their current antivirus offering, Windows Live OneCare, which is a paid service.
Currently several third party companies, such as McAffe and Symantec, also produce antivirus software for Windows PCs.
How do you compete with free?
Clearly, Microsoft is trying to crush every antivirus competitor at once.
